10 Dog Friendly Breweries in SEQ

Micro-breweries are on the rise and not only are they fantastic cruisy places to get together with your human friends, the vast majority welcome the pooches too!
Brendale Brewing Co
Here is our list of 10 dog friendly breweries in and around SEQ you can try as a fur-family – in no particular order as sadly we haven’t visited everywhere yet. Also, I’m not a beer person, so I’ll let you be the judge in that respect.

  1. All Inn Brewing Co.
Tucked away in an industrial area of Banyo, All Inn is a family favorite as the Fox is allowed anywhere and the vibe is just so relaxed. Great place for an afternoon wind down, food trucks are always around and live music and comedy or trivia are provided on different days.

  1. Ballistic Beer Co. – HQ
Salisbury’s local, Ballistic Beer Co, always has something going on from food trucks to live music. And for something completely different, Beer Yoga is held on Thursday nights. . .

  1. Felons Brewing Co.
Felons has prime position by the Brisbane River under the Story Bridge and was flagged as a favorite by one of the dog community. Felons has the longest trading hours of all the breweries on the list and is a bit fancier than your average with their own kitchen, beautiful décor and did I mention the view!

  1. Semi-Pro Brewing Co.
East Brisbane’s Semi-Pro is not only dog friendly but also supports the dog loving community by hosting RSPCA awareness and adoption days on a semi-regular basis, excellent stuff! Besides that, they have food trucks, trivia and all the good stuff you can expect from a brewery.

  1. Revel Brewing Co.
Beer and (wood-fired) pizza are a classic combo which is alive and well in this classy Bulimba brewery. And OMG they have an entire Instagram thread dedicated to their four legged visitors!!!

  1. Slipstream Brewing Co.
Based in Yerongpilly, Slipstream keeps their hours compact only opening their cellar doors Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday afternoon. But they still manage to pack in all the good stuff: trivia, food trucks, live music and off course beer.

  1. Hub Brewing
Tucked away in an industrial part of Geebung I managed to spot a Hub Brewing Sunday session in full swing from the train. NRL seems to be the football code of choice in Geebung and the guys at Hub Brewing make sure the game is always on.

  1. Brendale Brewing Co.
Brendale Brewing Co is a favorite of the local workers as well as the broader community, as evidenced by them taking home the Favorite Drinking Hole award in the Forkies 2019. Great place for the whole fur-family as dogs are allowed anywhere and there is a pool table, board games, dart board and Nintendo to keep the big and little humans occupied. And food trucks of course!

  1. White Brick Brewing
Located in North Lakes White Brick Brewing is more of an afternoon session type place as they close at 6 or 7pm. But when they are open it’s all the good stuff you expect in a brewery, food trucks, live music, community and of course, beer.

  1. Pumpyard Bar and Brewery, Ipswich
Home of 4 Hearts Brewing, Pumpyard Bar and Brewery is set within a beautiful historic building in the centre of Ipswich. Warning, Pumpyard is a little bit fancier than your average suburban brewery to match the setting, including having their own delicious bar menu – but they still keep the atmosphere nice and relaxed with a big open-air courtyard and live music. We really loved this place, plus there is an ice-creamery next door!   I hope this has given you some ideas for your next cruisy weekend afternoon! If you happen to visit (or have visited) any of the places listed in the article please review them so that others know what’s good and what to consider before they go. And of course, if you know of any others, please jump on and add them to the website! Cheers! EveryDog.
